Corporate Social Responsibility

Mission

 

During 2011, Indofood continued to improve its Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") programs, which reflect the Company's mission: "To contribute to the welfare of the society and environment in a sustainable manner". The objective platform that guides the Company’s CSR program implementation: Creating a Better Life Every Day, has been translated into five pillars:

 

  1. Building Human Capital

  2. Outreaching To The Community

  3. Strengthening Economic Value

  4. Protecting The Environment

  5. Solidarity For Humanity.

 

 

Programs

 

BUILDING HUMAN CAPITAL
Education is the main factor in building human capital. The Company’s support in this area is exercised by means of creating opportunities for formal and informal education for the public, promoting research and development and by building the capabilities of teachers. 

 

 

 

 

OUTREACHING TO THE COMMUNITY
Indofood consistently contributes to the sustainable development of the society in which it operates. The Company’s programs include the house rehabilition 

 

 

 

 

STRENGHTENING ECONOMIC VALUE
During 2011 Indofood continued to develop long–term win–win relationships with stakeholders through partnership programs aimed at fostering sustainable economic development. Indofood’s partnership programs target the families of farmers, breeders, SME owners and surrounding communities. 

 

 

 

 

 

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Indofood continues its commitment to maintain environmental sustainability, especially at all areas where the Company operates, through several environment–oriented programs, including the waste processing facilities. 

 

 

 

 

 

SOLIDARITY FOR HUMANITY
The Company has consistently supported various programs for those affected by natural disasters.
